When we arrived at kotobuki early one Saturday evening, the line was already out the door. I looked at my husband, and we weren't sure we were wanted to wait that long. I wound up giving them my name while we decided what to do, while standing in the line, we spoke with many people who told us that this was the best sushi in long island and that it was worth the wait. So we decided to stick it out. I have to say it was definitely worth the hour standing in a cramped hallway. Everything was so fresh and tasty. My husband loves sashimi, and he thoroughly enjoyed his. I had California rolls and they tasted exactly how I wanted them to. I highly recommend Kotobuki, just try and get there early.
