Review content:
Houston's only soda fountain & coffeehouse-roaster. Offering a unique and dynamic array of chef specialties from many of Houston's finest small food businesses as the storefront to Kitchen Incubator.
Café Luz showcases the bounty of over a dozen different chefs, bakers and food artisans in a cozy historic coffeehouse. Everything from the coffee roasting to the bread baking is done in house by the speciality food businesses that call the kitchens home.
Not only the place in town to get one of the finest cups of coffee (direct from the roaster himself!) but also the only place to enjoy an all-natural handcrafted soda (often from local ingredients and in exotic flavors), Luz also offers a changing menu of savory chef selections like soups, salads, argentinean empanadas and breakfast parfaits made with the yogurt they make in house from local milk.
Wifi is complimentary and lingering over the gorgeous views of the downtown skyline encouraged with comfy couches and arm chair for just that. Currently one of Houston's best kept secrets, but surely not for long!
