Review content:
My parents live on the North Shore so I visit Maison Esthetique when I'm in their neighborhood. I've only ever been there for bikini waxing, and I'm eager to experience some of their other (perhaps more pleasant!) services soon. I have to say, though, the waxes I've had at Maison Esthetique are the least painful bikini waxes I've ever had. The technicians are always professional and use a special kind of wax that hardens in place and doesn't require cloth strips to remove. It seems to be better for my skin and I'm left with hardly any redness or discomfort at all following my appointments. It's a more expensive type of wax, but when it comes to the bikini area, I'm happy to pay it!
Also, and this is very crucial, the technicians I've had have always been great about taking hair off where I say I want it removed, and not anywhere else. I've been to spas where asking for "a little off the sides" leaves you with a landing strip, but not at Maison Esthetique. I only wish I lived closer!
Pros: Great waxing, great ambiance, good parking, wonderful technicians
Cons: a bit pricey
