I've now tried all 3 big Seattle steak houses, Daniel's, the Met, and El Gaucho. El Gaucho beats the Met any day of the week, and exceeds Daniels by its superlative service and presentation.
My Seattle dinner club tried El Gaucho last week, all agreed it was the best Seattle dining we've had bar none. The chateaubriand was outstanding, tableside bananas foster to die for, but the service sets them above all others.
Only minor notes: Caesar too salty, dining room SO dark, wine by the glass selection limited
Pros: Stellar service, Superb food, What a presentation!
