I have 4 Air Conditioning systems that cool my home and over the past 5 years I have started to have problems with them and have also had some very steep utility bills. Two years ago Champion A/C came out to give me an estimate on changing out one of my 4 units. Their price was about $600 more than another small company that was referred to me by a family member. I went with the referral and it truly backfired on me. The system that was installed never worked properly and I could never get a hold of the guy who installed it. I will never just go with the cheapest option available when it comes to central air conditioning systems ever again. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" rings true in my situation. I decided to give Champion A/C a call when one of my other systems started to give me problems. It was ten years old so I decided to replace it and give Champion A/C a chance.
