Review content:
When I have friends visit from out of town, I always take them here for breakfast and then a walk around one of the lakes. The food is served hot and plentiful for a reasonable price. One friend from New York, who is VERY picky and never satisfied, declared that the Uptown Bar & Cafe has the best breakfast that he was ever served! This is quite a compliment, since I have only heard him complain about places and inform me of where I needed to go for the best _______ (fill in the blank).
Pros: Huge portions, Tasty food, Great bloody marys!
Cons: Smoky, Sometimes crowded, Surly wait staff
