Review content:
We have been going to Lifetime of Vacations, Grand Lake Resort for the past nine years. At first, after going to the large resorts in the area, we were a bit leery of this small, motel like resort. We were in for a nice surprise! The rooms are spacious and have been recently remodeled. We always stay in a one bedroom condo, with a murphy bed and pull out couch. It is plenty of room for our family of five. There is a steam shower and a large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Very relaxing after a long day at the parks! The kitchen is fully stocked with plates and cooking supplies. There is a stove, microwave and dishwasher as well. The resort is small, so even though you are right next to Disney and right off of HWY 192, it is quiet and peaceful. The pool is large and beautiful, old large trees are all over the large. There are grills for cooking out and picnic tables to eat at. The location is on Lake Wilson, and boats and fishing equipment are offered free of charge. There is a shuffle board court, tennis and basketball, again the equipment is available at no extra charge. There are even pool toys available. The only thing you need to bring to this resort is your clothes! On Wednesdays there is a cookout, and the resort supplies hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. The guests are invited to bring a dish to pass as well. It is a nice friendly atmosphere. There are activities each day for the children as well (no charge!) You just sign up in the office. The maintenance staff has been there since we started going, and are very friendly and accommodating. They have even given my husband fishing pointers. This place is fantastic, and I hope to keep going here for many more years!
