Review content:
They attempt to bribe customers for positive reviews by offering discounts at the close of the project. No Joke!
Here is their trick.... They show you stain samples on beautiful wood. Their samples are beautiful. But the catch is, whose is to say that your wood surface is nearly as nice as the surface they used for their sample?
Because of this, it is reasonable to have high expectations. based on their misleading samples.
And its all downhill from there, because Chris's attention to detail was non-existent. Poor workmanship throughout, to the point that we have to have our cabinets redone by an ethical and honest contractor.
Their workmanship is poor but the sales pitch/price is high end. No contractor related experience even comes close to what we had with Idel Designs. Promised excellent craftsmanship and the finished project was horrendously bad. With the project in an unfinished state, they demanded payment in full, when we pointed out numerous areas that still needed attention, Henry Belkin was belligerent and argumentative. Project Manager Chris offered a $300 discount if they could still get a 5-star rating on ServiceMagic. (ours was a $4500 job) We declined. Job started Jan 12, now its Apr 21st. 5 day project turned into 98 days. A nightmare!
Pros: none
Cons: Poor workmanship. Blatantly unethical behavior. Yikes.
