River Legacy Parks is a 1,300 acre oasis on the Trinity River in the heart of North Arlington. There are over 8 miles of hiking and biking trails, much of which wind around the river and through thick forest.
The wildlife is abundant in this park. Arrive around sunup or sundown and you are sure to spot a variety of animals including: armadillos, foxes, raccoons, possums and some of the newest inhabitants the bobcat!
There are numerous picnic areas where on the weekend you will see families lounging around or throwing a frisbee. There is also an adequate amount of Restrooms and Water Fountains.
When you are at this park you truly felt you have left the city and are consumed by the tranquility and the Fresh Air!!
