THE best bakery in the area!! If you don't believe me, just order a birthday cake from them...try a white or chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling (with or without fruit...though we usually get with bananas and/or strawberries) and WHIPPED cream frosting (though if you like the sweeter stuff, go with the buttercream frosting.
We've had sheet cakes (for example, white cake with peach filling and buttercream frosting) and EVERYBODY went for at least 2nds or 3rds!
They have a brown derby that is an incredible cake...
and on and on...
We've been going to La Bonbonniere in Edison and South Plainfield for 20 years and they are the best in the entire area!! If you think that you're saving by buying the junk at supermarkets, well, why are you even reading this then?
