SENSATIONAL is the best way to describe my night this past weekend. My friends and I have been dying to check out The Kress after we heard Macy Gray, Justin Timberlake, and P. Diddy have frequented the spot..we all fell in love. Being the hot spot "regulars" that we are...we were expecting the same vibe, different location thing, but definitely didn't get that at all. The Restaurant was so Grand in size, but very personable in service. The menu was ridiculously good (delicious calamari!!) and wasn't overpriced at all. I've spent 3 times more at Geisha House across the street and have gotten worse service and less variety than what I got at The Kress. The crowd at the Nightclub and the Lounge was refreshing compared to the normal stuck-up crowds at Goa and Les Deux. The cocktail servers are hot, the bartenders give you JUST the right amount in your drinks (and actually take a minute to say hello and look you in the eye), and the music gets your body moving. My group and I didn't want the night to end..but we know we will be heading back for more very soon!
