Review content:
I had nothing but high hopes for this landmark building in the heart of Hollywood. It boasts stunning views from the rooftop bar in addition to the Asian fusion restaurant and underground club. Unfortunately, my expectations were anything but met. The executive chef attempts to be creative by constantly changing the menu but falls short every time. There was no single item on the menu that was remotely enticing and when I decided to be brave and sample a dish here or there it was utterly inedible. While some staff were required to wear uniforms, others dressed according to their own misguided discretion. Overall, it seems like a lot of unfounded hype. This establishment is completely classless considering the fact that my meal was accompanied by the vibrations of the club below.
P.S. The sushi and sake were good but I'll hold off on the award ceremony.
