This place was my favorite of the bars I visited off Hollywood Blvd. I saw the dining area so me and a friend decided to pop in for a quick drink. We commented that for such a beautiful place, it wasn't very busy (maybe only 10 guests). I then noticed that people where going downstairs so I asked the verrrrry nice bouncer what was up and he said there was a club down there so we decided to check it out. No cover charge. When we walked downstairs all I can say is WOW! it was PACKED and they were playing the BEST house music I heard in all of L.A.! The drinks were a great price and strong. The sound system there was fabulous! We checked out the upstairs 'ultra lounge' but it was a bit boring and the music wasn't as good. Although it's a great place if you just want to sit down and chit chat with friends. My only complaints? Cheesy go-go dancers and the outdoor smoking area (no drinks outside)...but the doorman did say we could have gone upstairs to smoke on the upper terrace. Which probably would have been nicer. ALL of the bouncers here are SUPER nice :) I loved it!
Pros: great ambience, multiple levels (different experience in each room) good sound system, great dj!
Cons: cheesy go-go dancers, outdoor smoking area = no drinks allowed!
