Businiess name:  Old Liberty Theatre Llc
Review by:  Marie B.
Review content:
Remember the old theaters? Big rows of upholstered chairs bolted to the floor, dark velvet curtains, an actual theater stage up front? A few do still exist, and the Old Liberty is one that still operates as a theater, bringing live music and great entertainment to the small town of Ridgefield. The Old Liberty Theater has carved out a niche for itself with fantastic live bluegrass music, many of them names that are just as likely to play in the much larger nearby city of Portland, Oregon--for larger ticket prices. You can enjoy the weekly Wednesday bluegrass jam, numerous special concerts, or even the monthly Teenth Night (a Friday that falls on a 'teenth of the month) open mic. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is very welcoming; everyone from the staff to the fellow patrons are friendly and kind. There is a small coffee shop in front, Seasons, that offers everything from a latte to hand-scooped ice cream for intermissions. And special events, like magic shows, do come through from time to time for a little extra excitement. In this small town, you can still find an old-fashioned good time that you can bring your whole family to--at the Old Liberty Theater.
