Before Napili Market, going to a supermarket in Napili (which sits between Kaanapali and Kapalua on Maui) meant a 20 minute drive to Lahaina.
Located in the aptly-named Napili Plaza, Napili Market is a full-service supermarket. Specifically, you have a full-size fresh fruit and vegetable section; frozen food aisles; a deli; and even a small video-rental service.
Prices are reasonable for the area (look for the weekly sale ad in the weekly Lahaina News). Naturally, Costco in Kahului may have the lock on lower prices, but do you really want to drive halfway across the island if all you need is a loaf of bread?
