Review content:
Accurate Engines rebuilt my V6 Pontiac motor which had major engine failure after only 17,000 miles. The engine was under a 100,000 mile warranty so I took the car back to Accurate Engines for them to do the repairs. My car has now been in their shop for one month and 2 days and I still have not got it back! There was no parts issues that has caused for this delay, it has only been management issues, as I was told that the mechanic that took my engine apart went on vacation. So, does this mean that all of the other mechanics that work there are not knowledgeable enough to put a V6 engine back together? Perhaps so! But, being an experienced "back yard mechanic? that has done a lot of work on this motor, I can tell you that it does not take any "special" knowledge to work on this motor, it is a standard V6 engine. So, I do not understand how come there were no other mechanics at Accurate that could finish the work. Now, I am being told I will have to wait another week for the repairs on my car to be completed because Accurate Engines has lost a part to my motor and must order a new one. Accurate Engines not only is poorly managed but, it seems that the mechanics that work that are not very knowledgeable and experienced. My advice is DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ACCURATE ENGINES FOR REPAIRS!!!!!!!
Pros: NONE
Cons: Extremely poor management and mechanics knowledge
