Review content:
First off, in entering the store, i was ot greeted by any sales staff. 4-5 of them were seated in their chairs, talking amongst themselves and I had to approach them. That aside,my husband and I are putting our house on the market and will be replacing the carpet. I was going around town for price estimates. When I explained to the salesman that they were the secondest highest estimate I received and he said they probably couldn't beat the lowest written estimate I received, he became very negative and bad mouthed the company giving me lowest bid (which whom by the way carries an A+ BBB rating and is a national company). He did not offer me incentives to go with Carpetland (he presented me subpar carpet samples compared to what we were presented with at the other company and did not offer to price match or beat the bid.) I would have been OK with that, every company has its price/policy, but when I thanked him for his time and turned to leave, this man had the audacity to loudly remark to his fellow salespeople, "It's always about the price!" This level of unprofessionalism will not win any future sales with my money when we decide we want to spend more on higher quality carpeting for our new home!
