gateway prep school-This prep school was among several I looked at before deciding where to enroll my daughter. What impressed me about this school was its unique teaching method - its a computerized classroom where every child uses a lap top to learn at their own pace from an internal designed curriculum. This curriculum was designed by the world's fastest reader - Howard Berg- who is in the Guinness Book of World Records for reading 25,000 words a minute!! This school's accelerated learning program has students already graduating and attending some of the finest universities in the U.S. The only drawback, is that because this school caters so much to the individual student who learns at their own pace, the formal group-work setting that is used in most classrooms was not really apparent. All i all, a great school for someone who fits this unique concept of teaching.
