Review content:
We stopped here for lunch when my parents came for a visit. GREAT atmosphere...we ate on the outside/porch area. So God gets the credit for the gorgeous day. But it was nice to be able to people watch on the waterfront and have a pleasant breeze blow by every so often.
My dad was THRILLED wtih their clam chowder, as was my husband. Considering they won the chowder cookoff, not surprising. I had the lobster bisque and it was nice. Very pleasantly thick but I would have preferred more lobster in it. I did appreciate the amount of sherry in the broth itself.
I also had a special appetizer that day...I think Lobster Rangoons was what it was called. It was interesting, but I thought the filling was too "creamy". If you like Crab Rangoons from a Chinese Restaurant you will LOVE these here.
Another in my party ordered the stuffed clams and they are HUGE and quite spicy.
This is now a happy little lunch spot we frequent.
