Review content:
I went to Swank Chiropractic after suffering with pain in my hip for weeks. The pain gradually worsened and felt deep in my hip and thigh. The pain got much worse following training and became quite intense. It was weird, because I could walk relatively pain free.
I went to my MD and he prescribed some anti-inflammatories which helped alot. But I got worse when I quit taking the pills. I went back to my MD and he referred me to PT. I went to one visit and the girl stretched my hip and the pain was excruciating! I went home suffering.
I made an appointment with Dr. Swank and went in for an evaluation. He took X-rays and did some checks of my hip. He discovered that I had a fracture of my femoral neck. He said that it probably started off as a stress fracture but had become worse. He immediately referred me to an orthopedist. I wound up having an operation and they put screws in my hip!!
I am now back running and am pain free. I am very pleased with Dr. Swank because he found my problem and got me to the proper care. He found what others apparently could not.
