Review content:
Being new to the area, I went to La Dolce Vita based on citysearch comments. Although I should have noted that most of the positive remarks were regarding haircuts. I went for a bikini wax. The first time I went was awkward (as usual) but even more akward when I had to ask for things that I had become accustomed to getting during a wax. The second time was even more awkward with an inexperienced waxer. NOT PLEASANT. The third time, I waited for about 15 minutes before they told me that the wax machine was broken. I did recieve a $50 gift certificate but I don't plan on using it. I found a MUCH better place down the street and will not be returning to La Dolce Vita anytime soon espcially not for a bikini wax.
Pros: friendly staff, relaxing environment, variety of services
Cons: Inexperienced waxers, ancient waxing method, uncomfortable
