Review content:
Found this wonderful B&B in the Keuka Lake Wine Trails brochure. What a find! It is right in town just a block from downtown. The host, Paul, was so gracious and fun to talk to. He gave us a complete tour of the home and told us after seeing the house we could have our pick of the place as we were the only residents for the evening. It was mid week and off season so the whole town was pretty quiet! We stayed with our original choice, Eleanor's room. It was beautifully decorated with antiques and the decor was accents of grapes. The bed was a dream! Very important to us... the bathroom was added in the 80's with a whirlpool tub and shower, with added antiques/grapes to tie into the whole theme. Coffee was ready at 7am and we set our time for breakfast. We had a delicious fruit cup of bananas and oranges, french toast, bacon and sausages... juice too! We sat and talked with Paul for quite sometime, Having grown up in the area it was fun to come back and to hear about Penn Yan now. Plan on staying here again for any visists back!
