Review content:
I was taken here by a family member as a way to show a "good time," so don't think I went here on my own free will.
I wonder what this family member was trying to tell me? How much they hated me? Was it a sneaky way of letting me know I was offically cut out of the will? I'll never know, but I do know that watching people that really only vaguely look like celebrities is not a way to spend an evening, at least in my opinion.
I think it would have been enjoyable, or a bit more enjoyable, if the performers they had looked remotely like the people they were impersonating. Slapping a blonde wig on someone does not make them Marilyn Monroe. Half of the show I sat there wondering whether the person on the stage was supposed to be Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, or someone else.
I looked more like Elvis than the Elvis impersonator did, and there were many people that I just could not figure out who they were supposed to be. The lady behind us was certain that one performer was supposed to be David Bowie, while her friend was sure it was Annie Lennox. I just gave up and drank myself into a stupor.
