Review content:
I used to go to Geauga Lake all the time as a kid - it was a blast. Even when I go occasionally now, it's still as much fun as it was then.
They have all the rides that make up a good amusement park - ferris wheels & merry-go-rounds for the casual rider, huge coasters for the thrill-seeker, scrambler rides for the speed-craver, and everything in between.
One of GL's best features is their waterpark. They have a snaking river you can float down on inner tubes, huge curly waterslides, a lagoon to swim around in, and lillypads and logs to balance on. It's a great way to cool down.
I did dock a star for their unbelievable prices - $4 for watered-down pop, $8 for parking, and $40 for a ticket is a bit too much. They also have a "no cooler" policy to prevent people from bagging their meals to save some money. But if you don't mind digging in your wallet, it's great for a day and kids love it.
