I rated 1 star because this web sight wont let me go any lowwer.
Dont be fooled by the words X-ray Tech...This is a medical assisting program...it will only allow you to take xrays at a dr's office..Still $10.00 an hour job...They sucker you in with how much an Xray tech makes but the salary is not the same...This is a waste of money...The financial aid bill is enormous and with the amount of money i make, it will take me 15yrs to pay my student loans.....I had a 4.0 and letters of reccomendation from my instructors but has not done any good. I was making $14/hr before going to this school..Now If i want to work in the medical field i have to take a paycut or go back to school for something else. I should have listen to my mother and went to nursing school...Vo-tech is half the price, same amount of time and you finish making more money...
The instructors for the most part suck....I went home and read and knew more about the digestive system than my instructor did. Not all the instructors are horrible. But for the most part I dont feel anymore knowledgable because of them..
I will give the teachers a little credit...None of them had taught before..
When I graduated 2 months ago there were 2 decent instructors Shauna and Patrick but i hear they have both left , and they just got a new instructor with experience in teaching who subbed in my class. I learned more with the sub in 2 days than i had for the entire program but i hear she is gone also....
All I can say is I regret it
