Review content:
I have to say I'm not quite sure what the review above me is speaking of. My husband and I have been going to the Tavern since our kids were in grade school and we've never encountered anything but friendly service and great food for a nice value. Obviously if you're looking for a stuffy downtown restaurant, you're not going to find one in the middle of horse country! We especially love their wine list because they have some local vineyards mixed in with a great selection of Napa and Sonoma. The Rombauer Chardonnay is one of our favorites and its one of the only places around that offers it. It is true that the dinners are on the large side, but I've never considered that to be negative. If you do like smaller entrees the salads are pretty interesting and always changing.
Pros: Friendly servers, extenstive menu
