Businiess name:  Hardwick's
Review by:  Mary W.
Review content:
Hardwick's, located in the University district on Roosevelt Avenue was a funky hardware store when I first discovered it many years ago. It became Hardwick's swap shop and now is just Hardwick's. It's a combination of good old fashioned hardware store, swap shop, and museum. You can find new and used power tools, hard to find hardware and a variety of stuff that's too numerous to name. It isn't very big, but they pack a lot of stuff in there. The aisles are pretty narrow. If you have a craftsman house or you just want a craftsman feel in your home, go here for your hardware. This is where I finally found the right hinges for my 1920's built in hutch. They have a lot of old and new items. if you need a Kansai saw for detailed wood work, go here, there have the best selection in town.
