Businiess name:  Southwest Day Spa

Review content:
I am a hard working grad student and was looking to treat myself with a "spa" manicure and pedicure. I wanted to be pampered and looked on citysearch to find an upscale spa that would be worth splurging on. After reading the rave reviews of Southwest day spa, I wasted no time making an appointment. Although the salon itself was lovely and the employees friendly enough, the service I recieved was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price I was paying for it. From my experience, spa manis/ pedis include massages that last more than 30 sec, foot AND leg scrubs and lotion massages, and quality nail shaping (my fav. place back home even includes paraphin treatment and that is for the regular mani/ pedi!). My "spa" experience here included painful cutical cutting, a 30 sec foot scrub and leg message (NO hand lotion or massage), and nail shaping that left much to be desired - not only were my nails uneven, but they were sharp and rough around the edges. I even left before the polish had time to dry because I knew I had to come home, remove the polish and reshape my nails myself. I am an extremely easy going individual who never complains, but apparently I do have my limits and just do not want anyone looking to get pampered to feel as disappointed as I did after my experience at Southwestern day spa.
