I don't mean that they ok for a bar. I mean they are GREAT BURGERS. What more can I say? Did I mention the GREAT BURGERS? Dan' fits in with a David and Goliath theme. Located just across the street from McDonalds, Burger Hut must compete with the king of all things burger. Yet for the last seven years, many local residents frequent the Hut, as evidenced by the jovial conversation between the grill man and one of his regular customers. A burger with cheese is inexpensive at $3.21, and tips the scales at 4 inches across, and 2.5 vertically. The tomatoes and lettuce were helpfully fresh, but it was the Kaiser bun (that comes standard) that gave this entry more character. It is traditional to pay after the meal is eaten, which is a neat feature at a small burger shack. With only a handful of tables available, Burger Hut is a one man show. The place is usually busy during lunch hours, but dead at night as it closes relatively early at 10pm. I loved it. I didn’t leave a morsel on my plate. Don’t miss this place on way the McDonalds. I found it by accident. With my car in repair at Canadian Tire (which faces the Hut directly) lunch was a full service meal. McDonalds won’t be able to get you a beer either.
