Review content:
I am totally unhappy with my service at Christian Brothers. I brought my Envoy in because I had to issue I needed looked at, 1)when ever I turned off my car it wouldn't start again unless you gave the car a jump and 2)I wanted to know why the check engine light was on. After having the car for 8 hours I was told I needed a new battery to fixed the issue with the car not starting without a jump and I needed a different kind of gas cap to fix the engine light being on, even though I had a perfectly fine factory gas cap on the car. No work was done and I was charged almost $200 dollars in the name of diagnostics. I am being charged money just to be told what is wrong with my car, then I'll be charged again once they fix it, I truly do not understand this kind of practice. So anyway after getting my car back, I took it to the place where I purchased the battery, they replaced the battery for free since it was under warranty, and since changing the battery my check engine light has not came on again. So what should have been a 30 minutes to an hour at the mechanic and cost me $0, wound up costing me 8 hours of my day without a car and $185.
