If you want Hungarian food, this is your place! Made famous by Jamie Farr of M*A*S*H (Klinger), it's a Toledo landmark and famous people from all over have visited. They serve Hungarian hot dogs (with or without their delicious meaty sauce), chili, vegetarian chili, stuffed pepers, chicken paprikas, dumplings with gravy, stewed tomatoes, goulash and some yummy apple or cherry strudel for dessert. There are two locations, on Front St. in East Toledo and on Monroe St. in Sylvania, that have a full bar. The two other locations, inside Anderson's in Toledo and Maumee, are smaller and more "fast food"-like. The Front St. location has the most character, as it's the original. On weekends you can hear the Cake Walkin' Jazz Band play. The decor includes walls lined with hot dog buns signed by celebrities who have visited.
