Businiess name:  Kids Dentist

The Kids Dentist is WAY more focused on extracting as much money as possible from parents than quality patient care. They have a policy in place that says parents are not allowed in the treatment rooms. They blame this on their insurance. I called a lot of other local dentist (pediatric and family) in the area when I moved my kids to a new practice and NO other dentists have this type of insurance? I think if this is the case they need to look for a new insurance policy. My guess is they just don't want to deal with parents (which in general is true all the time there unless they are taking you money). I am NOT comfortable sending my kid off to be alone in a room with people I don't know. I also have to say that the quality of care here is very low. The dentist pushed me to take my 7-8 year old to an orthodontist, which is ridiculously early. He hasn't even lost 1/4 of his baby teeth. Even after I said I thought it was too early he continued to hound he about it. He also wanted to have some of my sons baby teeth pulled. My new dentist said this is a very "old school" way of thinking and that most dentist now realize this causes more problems than it fixes. Both of my sons also had cavities filled that my new dentist had to redo because they had recavitied and were done poorly. Find someone else to care for your children!
