When my boyfriend and I got to our room at the Silver Spur Motel in Lander, WY the window was wide open so we got the heater going. About half an hour later I pulled back the sheets to get in bed and saw that there were at least 5 dark hairs on the sheets so we went to the front desk and told the girl our room was dirty. She was instantly rude, but said she would switch us to a different room. We told her we would rather be refunded so we could go to a different hotel and she said the paper we signed says no refunds and she wouldn’t refund our money but would give us a different room. My boyfriend looked at the room and there were lights burnt out and crumbs in the bed. He came and told the girl that there were crumbs in that bed and the light was burnt out and a man who worked there went back to look at the room with him. I stayed in the front office and was trying to get our money back so we could go to a different motel and get a clean room. The girl told me that she cleaned all of the rooms herself and I told her that she didn't do a very good job because we had two dirty rooms so far. She told me that they don't even wash their bed spreads and then she called me a "cunt" so I immediately left the office and went to find my boyfriend so I could tell him what happened. I found my boyfriend and the man from the office was showing him a 3rd room, we pulled back the blankets and there were several hairs in that bed too. They still refused to refund us and said that they were the managers. The man got upset when we kept asking for a refund because we were continuously being showed dirty rooms and he threw a heavy metal pen at their glass display in the office and yelled and screamed and swore at us. The lady was yelling and swearing as well so we finally left without a refund. I have never been treated that terribly in my life!!!
