They make good coffee I will say that. My Fiance LOVES their coffee. I do have to say that the owner that works there a lot needs to learn about customer service and what customers mean to her business in a small town or rather anytown. These are hard times for everyone. If you haven't been hit by the economy you know people that have been, most are getting smarter about how they spend his or her money. Here is my issue: They have punch cards like most and I asked the owner one day if she could remind me to give her my punch card and she said " The punch card is a benefit to you" while this is true, it takes 21 days to create a habit and one bad experience to create a bad taste. I stopped giving $1.00 tip and started giving $.60 (rounded up my order to the nearest $). Then I stopped all together because it seemed like too much trouble for her to show any type of customer assistance/service. Marketing costs money and if you took what it costs House of Brews to make one cup of coffee (the free one every 12th cup) that is your marketing cost per customer. This number is easy to make up in your drink price, it is probably in there already, considering the price of their coffee verses others and the size of their building (a drive thru). My Fiance goes their every morning before work and I pick hers up on the weakend. We spend around $132 their every month. This is the main thing that upsets me because we live in a small town and there aren't many choices for good coffee in Snohomish. Sincerely, TRULY loyal customer with learning curve
