Review content:
I have seen Dr. Hoffman for many years. I find her very somber, impatient, and at times almost uninterested. Often yawning during exam questions. Her nurse is unfriendly and cool. It is not a warm office. When you work with the public you have to put on a happy face even if life is not the best at that time for you. As a person I am sure Dr. Hoffman is very nice, but it does not seem like she enjoys or even likes her job or her patients. I have seen her interaction with other patients and it is no better then the interaction I get. I would pick another member of the group, but Woodley Park does not allow you to change Doctors within their group. I have always been able to make an appointment within a reasonable time and never have had a long wait in in the waiting room. The staff that take the calls for the office are wonderful, helpful and caring-the best-and are one reason I do not change practices. The other reason is old habits are hard to break and sometimes it seem easier to stay with status quo then look for something different, even if it would be a positive change.
