Review content:
The sales people were great, but watch every move, read every thing they hand to you sign, and don't trust their finance department farther than you can throw them. During the sales process, I agreed to a $500 rebate with 1.9% interest for 60 months. Yet, when I got into the finance department, the gentleman tried to slide paperwork to me for a $1500 rebate with 63 payments at 3.99% interest. First he claimed it was 3.9%, but when I pressured for more info, he admitted it was 3.99%. Then he said "it would be cheaper for you, just trying to help you out." He showed where my payment would actually be a couple of cents less for the 3.99% rate. Well, when I got down to the truth - 3.99% at 63 months vs 1.9% at 60 months does give you a lower payment by cents, but costs you THREE extra payments! He became outwardly aggitated (ruffling through his desk, slamming the drawers, etc) when I told him I was going to check those calculations myself. Then he lied to me and said the 1.9% was also for 63 months (which the finance agreement clearly showed 60). Finally, after a few choice words between my husband and the finance guy, I told him to go back to the original 1.9%. Then the guy tries to slide in GAP coverage which I did not need as I had a large enough downpayment that I would NEVER be upside down on the vehicle. Didn't ask if I wanted it, just slid it in....... It is a real shame this finance department had to pull this crap. We are in need of a second car soon. I don't want to deal with a dealership that is dishonest.
