I have been going to Aveda for several years and have found the services acceptable. My hair dresser is wonderful. My last appointment was less than great. The atmosphere seemed very disorganized and a bit panicky. It even seemed a little dirty to me. I like going to the "spa" for relaxation. I had my first pedicure and it was terrible. I do not think it was due to the girl giving the pedicure. She seemed to be trying her best but appeared to be over loaded with no help. Even when she asked for help, the front desk didn't know how and eventually someone came to relieve her (to wash out the tubs!). I had to ask for the colors, figure out my own way to juggle all the things I was carrying, including my tea. Compared to the pedicure place right next door, there is no comparison. The water was simply turned on with no fragrance, bubbles, etc. No massage but a quick rub. This may be Aveda's way but there is no comparison to next door. The girl never even asked if I wanted the nails cut or filed. She left them way too long. I will never schedule a pedicure again. Sorry I used my points but glad I did not have to pay. I hope things get better next time.
