We had several windows in our home replaced by Gilkey Windows. We'd received estimates from several companies, but we found that Gilkey was the best value and best product, by far!
Their customer service is fantastic; when we called for an estimate, the sales supervisor came to our home to give us the estimate, because the salesman scheduled to come couldn't make it, and they didn't want us to have to wait to reschedule. He was extremely helpful, and didn't use high-pressure tactics. Their follow up was great, too... from checking in after we placed the order, to calling after the windows were installed. But still there were no high-pressure tactics.
The windows are the best I've ever seen. We used to have to keep our blinds and drapes drawn in the summer, and it still didn't keep out the heat... now we never close the drapes except at night, and even on the hottest days of summer, when the sun is beating on the front window, the glass isn't even warm to the touch.
They also offer a lifetime guarantee for the window, and I know someone who's used the guarantee, and was impressed with how easy it was, and how friendly and quick the replacement was. She did not want a "canopy" over her bow window, even though Gilkey recommended it. After about a year, her window started leaking. They replaced the window, free of charge, even though they strongly recommended the "canopy" to her (because of the possibility of the window leaking) and she refused it..
