Review content:
While this Sutter East Bay medical office is easy to get an appointment during the week, you have to question what kind of medical service you are actually receiving. I went in for a sore finger and was prescribed an medicine that gave me an allergic reaction. Of course, the reaction occurred over the weekend when the office is closed. Like any normal person, I called the doctor's answering service to speak to the on-call doctor. After four hours, 5 messages, and 10 phone calls, I still received no help. Apparently, the after-hours service does not know how to direct a patient to an on-call doctor. Not to mention, the on-call doctor was at another office (which was open on a Saturday), and the nurse there said the doctor would not take any phone calls and that patients would have to make an appointment to come in. Ridiculous? Yes! I was too worn out to pursue as I spent 4 hours trying to call a doctor and I couldn't put my family life on hold any longer. Result: Find another practice with doctors and an administrative staff/system that works. After all, I expect this service from a free clinic, not one that I am paying for. Pros: easy to get an appointment Cons: impatient, unfriendly doctors, rude, uninformed staff, unclean offices
