Although a friend of mine says it's an ok spot to chill at on weekdays, don't even bother on weekends. All they care about is how much dough you can shell out before you can even get in. The staff is incredibly rude. Our party worked out a deal with the manager for $20 a head plus $200 just to go up, but by the time we collected money and got our party together, they told us that the deal was not good enough. We offered another $100 on top of that, but we were ordered to move out of the way and go wait in the lounge area. HELLOOO~!!! Did they not see we were there for a birthday party and had well over 15 heads raring to get our drink on? Obviously, they are too shortsighted to see that we would've spent A LOT of the $$$ that they were so intent on getting if they had let us in. Drinks were expensive anyways...$13 for a glass of redbull with a splash of vodka. Why even bother going to the standard when there's plenty of other stuck-up, pretentious spots in LA to go to. Pros: decor Cons: RUDE staff, expensive weak drinks
