Review content:
If you want an escape from the typical LA bar/club scene, The Standard is the place to be. Located in Downtown LA, the bar comes with nice views of the city skyline, unique setting and decor and overall a good time. I went there for a birthday party and although the cover is $20 the drinks are not expensive and the service is not bad. Getting there earlier (around 9) pretty much guarantees entree the only downside is that its still pretty empty at that time so come with a few friends. The crowd is a mixture of traveling business men to local party goers. Fun place to hang out and dance, so bring some friends and enjoy!
