Last night I went to the Standard downtown for the first time. After reading reviews here I expected a beautiful place, but poor service. I was amazed at how friendly all the staff was. Everyone from security to our waitress were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I wouldn't recommend going there to meet people, as most of the other customers seem to be very snobby. Take a friend and enjoy the great atmosphere and good food and drinks.
