I've been to both the Richmond Road and Hamburg locations. I keep trying to like Planet Salon because I've read good things about them on this website, but I just don't. The Hamburg location had a stuck up receptionist who smugly asked me if I had just been to the gym (it was my day off and I happened to be wearing yoga pants). I also had to wait for almost half an hour past my appointment time for my stylist. I was not happy with the haircut I received at all. The next time I decided to go to the Richmond Road location. The stylist was very friendly and gave me a decent cut. The salon, however, was dirty and there was a table full of booze for an upcoming evening party. I felt this was incredibly classless. Also, my stylist told me what the cost would be and when I got to the counter to check out the receptionist (who I actually think was a beginning stylist who didn't have a client at the time) conferred with my stylist and I ended up paying about $60 more. I really want to like this salon and get the results that others have. I just simply haven't. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
