Review content:
I had been wanting to get a massage for quite some time but because of my schedule, it was not convenient. I work full time and go to school. The lecture classes are murder and I have to sit for 4 hours at a time. Needless to say I have alot of discomfort in my back muscles and shoulders. I googled massage in the bronx and found The Whole You Spa. It appeared that they offered both medical and regular spa massages. I booked a relaxation massage cause I just felt that I needed to wind down. The massage was excellent but didnt address my needs. Funny enough, my therapist said that she found several areas of tightness that needed to be addressed and she suggested that I come back in for a deeper and more medical type of massage. Because I enjoyed the massage and because I felt I needed it, I booked another. The next massage I had she put hot packs and then started on my back. It was deep and I could feel her working the spots that really hurt me. Afterward, I felt so much better. She then gave me stretches to do, which I appreciated. I don't go for massage often, but I will definitely go back there again. I got the best of both worlds. Great relaxation and great medical attention. The only downside to the spa....is that the rooms are not soundproof. Pros: Knowledgable & friendly staff Cons: No soundproofing
