Review content:
I like Food Lion. It may not be as big as the super Walmart or Acme, however, that's just fine by me. The staff is much friendlier than Walmart and I know where everything is that I need. And I have never been able to not find something I was looking for. It's a nice store without the crowded aisles or the unfriendly staff. And I have witnessed management going out of their way to assist their customers. This poor lady locked her keys in her car and he wouldn't leave her to fend for herself. It was cold out but he tried to get her door unlocked. Unfortunately he couldn't, however, he did offer to call someone for her. He was a very nice gentleman. I like the convenience of how close the store is, even though Walmart is right across the street...it's not worth the hassle. The prices may be high to some, however, if you have their MVP card, there are always savings. And I don't have a problem with the produce, either. There deli and bakery area is good, too. I suggest giving them a try. Use coupons for name brand stuff if you think it's too high there. I personally, like to get in and out of a store...here I can do that. Once you learn where things are, you can fly through there.
