Review content:
I received my student loan check and tried to deposit it into my checking account at Wachovia. They wanted to place a two day hold on this check. The check was a local check drawn on Conway National Bank. Why is it I can go to Wal-Mart and have the check cashed within two minutes or drive to Conway National Bank and cash it there? Wachovia said that is their policy. I told them to give me my check back and I would close my checking account and move to a different bank. All of a sudden "the policy" changed and she deposited for me. The funds will be available 12:01AM. Shouldn't your bank have your back? If I can cash a check at Wal-Mart with $3 and a license why can't I do this at my own bank.
