Who knew??? I've been sleeping in a river!!!
Years ago I had trouble sleeping. Turns out my crown chakra was stuck in a river (the plumbing that ran in the wall behind my bed). No wonder I could not sleep.
About two years ago I hung sage-colored, Dupioni silk drapery panels on the wall behind my bed and slumber was mine again. It's been a snooze-fest ever since. Turns out I have pretty good Feng Shui intuition which has just been confirmed by Feng Shui consultant and Reiki Practioner Beth Schermer of FUNDAMENTAL FENG SHUI.
Sage is a colored associated with wood (wood drains water) and silk hold the highest energy vibration. These are just two of the many things I learned from Beth in a workshop I attended tonight. Prepared, personable and attentive, Beth introduced me to various Feng Shui traditions, helped me calculate the "best directions" for me and my husband (who is very skeptical but will be pleased to know he is getting the most sleep benefit out of the position of our bed), gave me countless tips for solving the "career corner" of my home (and life), applauded my choice NOT to have a TV in my bedroom and confirmed my suspicion that our "hand-me-down" dining table needs to be dowsed. This woman is good.
