Review content:
“Dion Ross’s Painting” took advantage of a widowed senior citizen, who was in the process of putting her house on the market to sell. “Dion Ross’s painting” lacks professionalism, proper business ethic, and quality workmanship.
“Dion Ross’s painting” has been in business over twenty years and has failed to keep current with the new standards of safety in the painting industry. This negligent action caused “Dion Ross’s painting” to create a fire hazard and poor electrical conduction of all the wall sockets in the widowed senior citizens home. The widowed senior citizen had the embarrassment of finding this information out after a potential buyer for her home had it appraised. This caused the widowed senior citizen to have extra stress and cost her extra money to have the situation corrected due to Dion’s negligence. Dion Ross refused to correct the wall socket fire hazard situation or share in the cost of correcting the wall socket situation with the widowed senior citizen. Dion stated to the widowed senior citizen, “You can sue me”.
Dion’s painting in addition failed to inform the widowed senior citizen of previous paint runs on a banister. Dion painted over the paint runs on the banister knowing the banister would have to be stripped and repainted. Dion incorrectly repaired nail pops in the ceiling of the widowed senior citizens home which had to be corrected by another contractor. Dion’s refusal to place a drop cloth on all areas where Dion was painting caused paint spillage on vent covers, kitchen counter tops, bathroom surfaces, and other areas of the widowed senior citizens home which had to be corrected by someone else. Dion also showed up late to start the job at the widowed senior citizens home which caused her to make changes to her daily schedule. Dion failed to ask permission of the widowed senior citizen to play his boom box and rudely played his boom box interrupting the widowed senior citizens own music/television program. Lastly, Dion left a very visible paint roller mark of different colored paint on a white colored ceiling in the living room.
When confronted about these issues Dion offered no apologies became defensive and only offered to redo the banister. I have written this review to save people the time, extra expense, and aggravation of using “Dion Ross’s painting.”
