Review content:
At 85 years this was far from my first visit to the dentists chair. Admittedly I was not as fearful as I was about 75 years ago, but I have my own problems. I was greeted by name, welcomed and eased into a chair almost as an honored guest. The hygenist cleaned my teeth as skillfully as I have ever experienced, and took x-rays swiftly and as deftly as I have ever experienced. Dr. Yeargan came in, and after greeting me and putting me at my ease, examined my ex-rays, then me, and finally informed me that I had three cavities and at such spots that he would have to replace three crowns, a frission of horror went through me. He eased my anxiety, telling me that as he had worked on one of those some years ago, it would not cost me. It made the knowledge that two would cost me almost bearable. I appreciate having almost all of my teeth and I ascribe all of that to the care, and expertise of men such as Dr. Yeargan. He keeps up with advances in his profession to the benefit of his patients.
