Review content:
We like this restaurant primarily because it is close to us, but also because it does have very good food. They have a fairly extensive menu, though many of the items are similarly prepared. The food is consistently good, and the ambiance is great. The restaurant is in a historic house, and you will eat in one of several different rooms. The desserts are excellent, and we love the salads and breads served with the meal. The service was only fair the last time we visited, but in fairness it is usually very good. We've also had takeout from here on New Year's Eve, one of their busiest nights. I believe they generally take reservations as well, you might want to call ahead if you are planning on going on a weekend night.
